Flaz Up was created to solve key problems creators face—unfair algorithms, limited monetization, and lack of real communities—areas where traditional streaming platforms often fall short, leaving creators feeling overlooked, underpaid, and disconnected from their audience and fellow creatives.

Results
With Flaz Up, creators began to thrive as envisioned. They’re no longer just sharing content—they’re leveraging powerful features like personalized dashboards, real-time earnings, and live engagement tools that are accelerating their careers. These advancements have helped grow vibrant communities and boost streaming activity.
However, after launch, we faced challenges with user adoption due to the strong loyalty many had to existing popular streaming platforms. This prompted us to revisit our approach, refine our processes, and focus on building trust by introducing new, efficient features tailored to user needs.

Discovery: We spoke with 55 potential users, ran surveys, and held interviews to uncover their real struggles. By mapping journeys and studying competitors, we gained deep insights that helped shape Flaz Up around what creators truly need.
Ideation: Based on the research findings, we restructured the app's navigation and content, prioritizing features and information according to user needs.
Designs & Prototyping: We designed low-fidelity wireframes to visualize the new layout and navigation, iteratively refining them based on user feedback. Afterward, we built a high-fidelity, interactive prototype to test the design.
User's Testing: We conducted usability tests with a diverse group of users to validate the design and identify areas for improvement. Based on the feedback, we made necessary adjustments to the design.
Feedback and Iteration: We developed a cohesive visual language, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, ensuring consistency throughout the app. We also created a style guide to maintain design consistency in future updates.
