User Research & Insight Generation: To understand how AI could truly support education, we visited schools across Nigeria—including Ibadan, Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt. I worked closely with my research team, engaging directly with students and educators to explore their everyday challenges. These conversations laid the foundation for GMind AI, an educational assistant built from real classroom needs.

Insight Synthesis: After collecting feedback, I grouped related problems using affinity mapping, which revealed patterns across different user types. We discovered the most pressing needs—like lesson planning, academic writing, and student engagement—which shaped the core feature set. This process gave us a clear, user-driven direction for design and product development.

Wireframing & Concept Development: Following the survey, our design team began sketching out potential solutions. I collaborated with them to translate user insights into feature ideas like a lesson planner, resume builder, research assistant, and more. The wireframes helped us visualize how each feature would work together to support both students and educators.

High Fidelity UI Designs: We brought the MVP to life with clean, minimalist high-fidelity designs that emphasized clarity and ease of use. I carefully chose a modern color scheme, intuitive layouts, and bold visual elements to make the platform feel both refreshing and professional, while ensuring accessibility for our diverse user base.

Usability Testing & Refinement: Once the prototype was complete, we tested it with students and educators in multiple locations. Their feedback helped us identify usability gaps and opportunities for improvement. I iterated based on their responses, refining interactions and content until we achieved a design that truly resonated with users and delivered real value.
